Hi all,

Well, it’s been a busy week! While I’m not officially joining in Nano I have made a list of writing tasks I want to get completed this month, and the writing motivation going round at the moment seems to be definitely helping! Today, I’m joining in the My Sexy Saturday blog hop again, and I also said I’d have some news for you – so here we go 🙂

I’ve been looking at re-releasing a short read that was previously involved in an anthology with my old publisher. It’s called A Chance at Love, and is a military-based romance. I’m very excited to announce that I’m joining forces with the awesomely talented Leona Bushman and Sheri Velarde, and we’re going to release a mini-anthology on a military theme, with all proceeds going to Help the Heroes. If you haven’t heard of them, they’re an amazing charity who help current and ex service-people, with a special emphasis on those who have suffered injuries in the line of duty. It’s called Duty, Honor, Desire and we’re hoping to release this week, in line with Remembrance Day/Armistice Day, so it would be wonderful if you could all support us.

So, my excerpt this week comes from Suzanne and Aidan in A Chance at Love, and this is the first glimpse of our shiny new cover. Really hope you like both!

She’d been half-expecting it to be a dream, but the day before started crashing back into reality. Christ, not only had she got the worse news of her life but she’d apparently dealt with it by jumping into bed with a complete stranger. Maybe if she just didn’t have to look at him, she covered her face with her hands.

He stopped stroking her – she was happy about that and not at all disappointed – and cupped her face.

“Hey, you okay?”

She groaned, did he have to be so nice about things? Especially when she was pretty much dying of embarrassment here. She forced herself to sit up, realized too late that this bared her breasts, and grasped for the covers with a squeak. He was eying her with amusement. Okay, so he’d seen a whole lot more then that last night – but that had been last night and this was, well, not last night!

“Look, Aidan, I may have acted a little, er, inappropriately last night.”

The lazy smile he shot her did odd flippy things to her insides.

“I think you were pretty damn amazing last night.”
