Hi all,

Hard to believe it’s been almost a year since I set up this blog and since I was signing my first ever contract! It’s been a rather crazy year; my first release, first anthology submission, first completed full length novel and am preparing for a new release next month. More than that though I’ve managed to leave my soul-destroying 9-5 job and while it was initially quite nerve-wracking then with a mix of freelance bits all over I’m actually managing and getting that precious extra time for writing 🙂

I would say that I wish I’d done this years ago but I do believe that the bad times and the people who stamp on you all help to get you where you need to be (even though it rarely seems like it at the time!).

What I would like to say is a big thank you to those who have been so wonderfully supportive. I’ve been amazed by the number of people who have shown an interest and have been following my journey so far – hopefully it will go much further 🙂 So, this post has turned into a bit of an ‘oscar speech’ ramble, but since I tend to have a good moan when I’m fed up it only seemed right to share a bit of positivity as well. Hope it’s catching x
