Monday Catch Up

Hi all,

wolf coupleWell, Monday rolls round again, hope you’re all having a good start to the week. The last one has been quite busy here – as some of you know had to take kitty in to the vets on Thursday for her little vampire tooth that was sticking out. They decided to keep her in there and then to take it out – so had a rather stressful few hours of worrying plus a lot of running back and forth. Thankfully all was fine, and once she’d got over her wobbling all over the house like a wee drunkard she’s looking much better and scoffing her food down 🙂 Our furbabies do keep us on our toes, right? On a related note, thank God for PDSA. If you don’t know, they are a wonderful charity who run vet clinics for people on low-incomes to provide their animals with vet care. With all the health problems kitty has had over the past year, if she’d still been at a regular vet I would be bankrupt by now! If anyone feels the need to donate somewhere, they are a very worthy cause.

Writing-wise, have finally finished my wolves book 2! 🙂 It’s both a wonderful feeling to have finished and at the same time a little sad having to say goodbye to your characters. Still, I have a feeling they will be popping up in some other people’s stories so not a total goodbye really. So, have been having a few days break, catching up on some tv shows etc (anyone else watching Gotham – how good is it right now??). I’m also starting a new story for a submission call. I know, I know, I have so many half-finished ones already, but this was just too tempting. It’s been lots of fun to write so far, which is nice to have something light with a bit of comedy after having a bit of an intense ending on the last book. So far, we have a witch allergic to magic, a vegan vampire under a curse and a werewolf veggie cooking group 🙂

Anyway, better get back to it! Take care x
