Hope your weekend is going well. I’m joining in the My Sexy Saturday blog hop today and since the theme is celebration I thought I would celebrate my shiny new cover for Love Reawakened by sharing it here first 🙂 It re-releases on the 30th so not long to go now! Emma moaned as he tangled his hand in her hair, pulling her down so her body was crushed against him. She’d intended to give him a light, teasing kiss, but the moment they touched her senses went into overdrive. His tongue slid along the seam of her lips before plunging within, and groaning, she met it with her own. Her nipples hardened against his chest, even through her thin t-shirt, and his hand slid from her hair down her side to the band of warm skin where her jeans met her t-shirt and then underneath to cup her breast. His thumb rubbed back and forth across the sensitive bud, and a whimper rose in her throat.

Christ, it had always been like this between them. A simple touch was never enough, she always craved more. Her skin burned wherever they touched even through her clothes, and she desperately needed to be closer. She swung her leg across so she straddled him, and as she sank down, his erection met her rapidly dampening core and they both groaned. Oh God, that was just what she needed, only without the two pairs of jeans in the way.

She slid her hands between them, sliding them over the warm skin of his chest, tracing his pectoral muscles and the light smattering of hair. Then her fingers reached the thick bandage at the top, making him wince, and her body froze.

“It’s fine,” he murmured against her lips, trying to pull her back down to him.

She shook her head. What the hell is wrong with me? The guy had nearly died, had been awake for about ten minutes, and instead of trying to make him take it easy like the professional had told her to, she was jumping his bones. She pulled back, covering her face with her hands. This was before she even started on what a bad idea it was in the first place. They’d been down this road before, and he’d made it very clear nothing was going to happen. Didn’t she have enough on her plate right now without getting her heart broken again?

“Emma, what’s wrong?”

His voice was soft, and she forced herself to gaze up at him.

“I’m sorry. I really shouldn’t have done that.”

He smiled at her. “Did you hear me complaining? Unless it’s about the whiplash I just got.”
